Welcome to my website! I'm Harry, a Design Engineering graduate from Imperial College London, with a passion for leveraging technology to drive impactful outcomes. With a solid academic foundation and a diverse range of professional experiences, I thrive on tackling complex challenges and delivering results.
At Imperial College London, I attained a First Class Honours in Design Engineering, being Deans Listed over multiple years. My modules spanned a broad spectrum, from Machine Learning and Human-Centered Design to Economics for Systems Design and Thermofluids, equipping me with a robust skill set tailored for real-world application. I had the privilege of representing my university at the 'AutoTech: Detroit' conference in the USA, where myself along with 4 peers from university presented insights from a cutting-edge technology project.
During my tenure as a Technical Program Manager Intern at Amazon, I contributed to the development of a $30MM entitlement product, driving a 200% increase in the Overall Equipment Effectiveness metric during its testing phase, while adhering to Amazon's rigorous Product Development Process.
At Coutts & Co, I undertook a rotational placement where I streamlined Asset Management workflow processes through VBA automation, led Design Thinking workshops for over 50 employees, and developed a new customer proposition for Coutts Rewards & Benefits scheme.
As a Strategist Intern at YaYa Digital Design Consultancy, I worked with FTSE100 clients, delivering actionable insights and helping to drive around 100% YoY company growth. My knack for strategic analysis and cross-functional collaboration consistently translated into favourable outcomes for clients.
My activities extend beyond academia, including participating and winning events such as the IBM X NatWest Tech-A-Thon and the Spacebit X Imperial hackathon. These experiences underscore my ability to innovate under pressure and collaborate effectively within diverse teams.
Leadership and teamwork were commonplace during my coursework modules, while I also developed a Web-App during my Master's Thesis aimed at optimizing companies' decarbonization infrastructure. This project helped to lay the groundwork for a PhD study in collaboration with a leading UK automotive manufacturer and also led to a consultancy engagement, where I helped lead the project under the Imperial Consulting Group, serving one of the Big 4 consultancy firms as our client.
Equipped with technical proficiencies ranging from programming, CAD, UI Design, and financial modelling, I am well-equipped to tackle complex challenges across various domains. Beyond my professional endeavours, I am an avid skier, having competed at the national level, as well as enjoying football and reading up on personal finance.
Driven by the opportunity to develop novel products, I am committed to leveraging my skills and experiences to make a meaningful impact in the ever-evolving landscape of technology and design.
